Excting times!

Just realisd how long it's been since my last post & thought I should remedy it before the start of a new month!
It's been very busy around here as we are planning a whole load of home improvements - very exciting but daunting at the same time! Hopefully once everything is done I will be enjoying my other passion of creating yummy things in a brand new kitchen!

I have found some time to create some pages - a couple of weeks ago I met up with the girls for our regular monthly get-together and also squeezed in another day with my chum Denise.

A while ago I signed up to a class hosted by Shimelle Pretty Paper Party and these 1st two pages were inspired by lessons from that class - the butterfly one is an almost direct scraplift as I just loved the idea, and the other was a lesson encouraging the use of lots of patterned papers & stacking

This next page is a Christmas LO using very much non-Christmas papers & shows of my love of using random photos taken on my phone using Hipstamatic - quirky is good!!

I tend to scrap photo by photo rather than by concentrating on one event at a time which stops me getting bored and means my completed albums are a mix of styles and papers rather than all the pages looking the same. The next LO is from summer holidays in France

My final offering is another holiday page but this time with no people! We spent some time at the D-Day Normandy Landing beaches - a sombre topic but one I wanted to capture for the album
Well, that's all for now. I am lucky enough to be going away on Sarah's Cards Retreat in a few weeks (and there are a couple of places left if you fancy a treat!!) so will be able to share all the goodness from then!! xx

  4. Fab pages Emma! Love the butterflies on the kraft, and adore your Family Christmast pate. And I think I recognise the left over retreat papers ;) xxx
