I decided to join in with Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party and although I've not worked my way through many of the many prompts yet, I have done a couple of pages using the ideas. The first was additonally inspired by Jen Naull's take on the idea......
The next was completed with artistic contribution from Karen who ably assisted in the palette selection! A bit - well actually a lot!! - out of my comfort zone but I'm happy with the result. A great way of using up scraps
The last two offerings focus on using patterned papers for the backgrounds which meant I got to use the sheet of woodgrain paper that's been troubling me for a while!!
and made me decide to use the red side of this sheet - I loved both sides so hadn't used it at all! Rather than leave it languishing unused in my paper box, I was assertive & made the decision!!
I will refrain from making any promises about how long until my next post, but needless to say I hope it won't be as long as last time!! Thanks for looking x

ReplyDeleteFantastic. so glad you went with the white on the walking in Whitby. It really pops and the addition top left and the starts on the circles-great idea. The other 3 layouts are all fab too and I shall push you into blogging. Glad you got everything finished in time for tomorrow so you can start something new which means you will have to blog again. Simples!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see a new blog Emma - these layouts are wonderful - love all those paint splatters on the Whitby page. Brilliant photos in the Chateaux layout too. Wish I was spending a day visiting them too - ahhh *sigh*. Pxx
